1/2 Volunteer Hours Due!

Attention Parents! Today is the deadline for the First 1/2 of your Volunteer Hours.

That’s 15 if you have one student in the school; 20 if you have two or more children attending Somerset Prep.

There are multiple ways to earn your Volunteer Hours:
– Come in and help around the school. We always need helpers to greet children in the morning car line, assist with breakfast in the cafeteria, greet parents and students coming to the main office, etc.
– Participate in meetings and events at the school. Tonight’s Parent University Meeting is worth 3 Volunteer Hours. Not only will you earn hours, but you will have a chance to learn important family strategies from trained professionals representing Memorial Health Care’s Youth Services.
– Purchase supplies needed by your child’s teacher, every $5 spent counts as 1 hour.
– Purchase menu items for the concession stand, every $5 spent counts as 2 hours! Items must match the menu list exactly.
– Pay for your hours. See Mrs. Leotaud in the main office. $5 = 1 hour.
